Bug#617363: install option desktop=gnome currently broken

did you maybe miss the "apt-get update" step after editing sources.list?
 
"apt-get upgrade" first could also be helpful :)

let's ignore this.

hm. i guess thats because the CD installs packages from squeeze-test but then 
only points to squeeze. that shouldnt happen.
