Per is referring to an LDAP python API that we (Per, Mike, ...) have developed for Kiel university once upon a time ago. I plan to use that in conjunction with python-x2go and LDAP support. Thus, the python API will be revived.
It might be indeed an idea to wrap a GUI around that. But that is very low priority. @Per: how about you? I would support you with the API backend...
