First Scott, I'm really happy that you wrote your e-mail, commending
everyone's contributions.

You're spot on, indicating that the press release process is far from
good. Petter mentioned on IRC that it might not have been a press release
at all, If I hadn't jumped on the keyboard three weeks ago. That's not a
good sign.

I feel that going into further past do not help. Instead I've started on a
"Press Statement Howto"[1], which can give god advices both on process,
content, when to start, and who work with (e.g Debian press people). Yes,
I'll try to put more in here tonight, since now it's basically not read
worthy:

This way, we can get clear the process and ideas for content based on
previous experiences, different target groups etc. Then it's easier for
more to get involved.

If this works, I can continue on being a bit more "invisible", handling
organisational issues. E.g helping with applications to governmental
grants, organising code sprints and so forth. I might also help a bit more
on press appearance too. It has declined considerably after I stopped
engaging as much as I did four-five years ago. Press lists clearly shows
that[2]. I believe we can get much more done with an improved process and
a better guide on how to do this :)
