looking at current debian-edu-config svn:

  egrep -r BOOTPROMPT_OPTS * | egrep -v .svn
  cf/cf.ltsp: AppendIfNoSuchLine "BOOTPROMPT_OPTS='quiet splash'"
  share/ltsp/plugins/ltsp-build-client/Debian-custom/025-bootprompt-opts: export BOOTPROMPT_OPTS="quiet splash"

looks like boot=nfs needs to be added to both those places... but i am not
confident of how debian-edu-config is supposed to work.

if boot=nfs isn't present in /var/lib/tftpboot/ltsp/i386/pxelinux.cfg/default,
i am very confident that it not work unless you've configured LTSP to use NBD
root, which i don't think debian-edu is doing.

i probably should've patched the default in the packages directly ... *sigh*

live well,
