That's all. Adding a comment just before a line to translate is the way to
speak with translators. In my po file, I now see:

#. Note to translators: EIOM=E(rror)I(nstalled)O(ld mark)M(arked for)

msgid "EIOM"
msgstr ""

which is easier to understand.
