I hope this is a joke.  Unless harvesting data or making XML parser
simple are the objective, it is too verbose.

I want to enter <email>john@geekhavoc.com</email> and preprocessor
should process it to first format.

After all computer must work for human and authors should not be forced
to write document to simplify its XML parser grammar.

PS: I am for XML with some reservation as I posted in another thread.
