Hmm, not sure. I get the impression there's another conspiracy involved:
systemd provides additional features (like NoNewPrivs) that aren't
readily provided elsewhere. I very much suspect people close to the
three letter agencies are interested in making these *not* available to
the large mass of people. But their mails are too easy to look
through (which confuses me)...
