Because printing though xprt-xprintorg is *really* broken. You have to
manually select PostScript/default as the printer instead of the
default. Then it works good.
Frankly, that packages is quite useless,
apt-cache rdepends xprt-xprintorg
xprt-xprintorg
Reverse Depends:
mozilla-firefox
|xprt-common
|xprt-common
x-window-system
mozilla-thunderbird
mozilla-firefox
mozilla-browser
Removing it until it gets fixed would be my vote.
