And??  What does it matter?  So /usr/lib/npapi is meaningless to the
user.  The /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins directory could be a symlink back to
/usr/lib/npapi/plugins.  As could the /usr/lib/netscape/plugins
directory.

I'm sure that there are many directories that are meaningless to several
users.
