Huh.  So can I, now.  I wonder what it was that had me thinking
otherwise.

It is slightly annoying that the text is selected in rectangular
blocks rather than as it flows across lines, but 1) that's something
that can be lived with, especially with how non-free Adobe is being
with acroread, and 2) It may just be my ignorance of the interface
talking.

I do wish xpdf would support the chapter/section stuff that acroread
supports, but again that's mostly a minor annoyance.
