slash is probably the best-known one.. I think it's available at
slashcode.org or you can find it somewhere on slashdot.org..
another well known one is php-nuke, i think this is what debianplanet
uses.. Don't know where to get it though..
Both of these are more content management systems than forums.. If you
want just forums, I don't know which one to get..
