I see, but i do not agree (the fact you filed a bug does not mean i'm wrong).
I looked at the RedHat's `which', which uses options and the `--' to escape the
arguments beginning with `-'.
The usage of `--' is quite a standard (that of macOS X may be considered a
bug).
I think that 148178 should be closed.
