I'd prefer that too...

I'd suggest using popularity-contest for such decisions.

So it looks like cvs is used more than rcs...
i'd suggest removing rcs from standard as well.
(I use cvs everyday, but i can't remember typing rcs...)
maybe add "autoconf" to standard instead - that really helps everyone
who tries to build software himself ;)
