Bug#136225: your bug report
So, do you have a log of the upgrade that resulted in gnome-session
being installed? How did you do the upgrade, via apt (what command line
options), dselect, or some other frontend? What version of debian are
you using? What version of debian were you upgrading from?
Apt is fairly unlikely to remove package out of the blue, and it will
*never* do do without telling you first and asking for confirmation.
This bug report is probably human error, but the above questions will
help us determine for sure.
