i have a problem with an init.d script that i move out of the way with a diversion to $i.real. however, as i install the new version (which is marked as a conffile), i am being asked what to do, overwrite or not. but the actual script doesn't exist anymore at that point, as it's been moved by the diversion. i thought diversion are to handle such cases in a way to let dpkg know about it. how else should i proceed? not marking as conffile will probably result in an error as i am trying to overwrite a file in another package. any tips appreciated! -- martin; (greetings from the heart of the sun.) \____ echo mailto: !#^."<*>"|tr "<*> mailto:"; net@madduck 1-800-psych hello, welcome to the psychiatric hotline. if you are obsessive-compulsive, please press 1 repeatedly.
