 Well, then if yous think it's right, please file the bug against
 "debian-policy".  (I'm not currently in the keyring, as you may
 recall.)

 In the meantime, I'll set up a local configuration for my ide-scsi
 "generic" CD-RW.  Hmmm... perhaps it can be debconfiscated somewhere
 appropriate, to make it easier for (even) less cluefull users?
 Where?  "base-config"?  "devfsd"?  You folks decide; I must get back
 to work on other things now.
