Yes, and it looks like config.guess is like this :

    i*:CYGWIN*:*)
	echo ${UNAME_MACHINE}-pc-cygwin
	exit 0 ;;


I think we should call it cygwin. There are possibility of mingw, and 
native win32, and "interix".

Other things are completely bogus.
Are we directly using win32 API calls in cygwin applications anyway?
