debian-pool is a very misguided mailing list: it's too specialised. So
discussion's happening on -devel instead.

As opposed to in private.

Some people would rather not be flamed while they're trying to get
productive work done. Extrapolation to work out the relevance of this
is left as an exercise to the reader.

Look at the files in James' home directory like the rest of us. Mail
him patches, like the rest of us. It'll no doubt be put on cvs.d.o
eventually. If you want to try packaging it, go ahead (this was probably
the main reason you just got silence before).
