The FSSTND says:

  Game data stored in /usr/lib/games should be purely static data.  Any
  modifiable files, such as score files, game play logs, and so forth,
  should be placed in /var/lib.

But I don't know tama.

That's my opinion, too (if all files in this dir were created by tama).
