The upstream fvwm2 config file still uses CTRL-arrow to flip pages.
The Debian system.fvwm2rc is a custom one done from scratch by Lars
Wirzenius to allow us to do all the funky hooks stuff. He took the
opportunity to change the page flipping bindings at the time.

The nice thing about emacs is that M-left does the same as C-left, ie,
move the point one word left.

Personally, I use a custom .fvwm2rc which has the old upstream
keybindings. Call me traditional, but it's hard to break a five year
habit :)

Yes, I keep meaning to investigate this, but there are still a lot of
people without these newer keyboards (me included). In fact, some
people actually prefer the old ones, since the newer ones have a much
smaller spacebar. And let's face it, you use a spacebar much more
that any window manager functions :)
