ATTENTION GTK-USING PACKAGE MAINTAINERS!
Sorry for the obnoxious subject line! :) I'm about to upload
gtk+-0.99.7, hopefully the last of the pre-1.0 Gtk+
releases. Unfortunately, as usual, 0.99.7 is incompatible with older
releases of Gtk.
All Gtk-using packages will have to be patched upstream and rebuilt
with this new Gtk. I'll try to test as many Gtk-using packages
as I can and submit bugs on those that crash with the new Gtk.
Sorry the path to 1.0 is so painful! We'll make it eventually!
