Package: gglyph Version: 0.1.1-1 Architecture: i386 Depends: libc6, libgtk1 (>= 1:1.0.4-1), t1lib0, xlib6g (>= 3.3-5) Suggests: type1inst Installed-Size: 89 Maintainer: David Huggins-Daines <bn711@freenet.carleton.ca> Description: A graphical font previewer and installer Gglyph is a GUI tool for managing a collection of fonts. . Gglyph can preview and display information about Type 1 fonts without them being registered with X. It provides a graphical interface for installing fonts under X, with drag-and-drop functionality. . This is an alpha release. GGlyph is a little program that I wrote for previewing and installing Type 1 fonts under X. Basically, at the moment, it's a graphical frontend for type1inst (you can also use it as a simple viewer for Type 1 font files) though soon it will also generate AFM files for fonts that don't have them, as well as the necessary code for using these fonts under LaTeX (TFM files, .sty files, and so forth...) It's still a little buggy (and is under development, so it might remain that way) but it shouldn't destroy your system or anything. If nobody has any objections, I'll upload it tonight, as I have packages right here. -- David Huggins-Daines - 4th year undergrad, Linguistics, University of Ottawa bn711@freenet.carleton.ca - http://aix2.uottawa.ca/~s1204672 PGP: key=63A8B719 fingerprint=4F 38 A2 34 E1 E0 B7 6E C3 DA 6C E3 C6 6A 05 62
