100% agree.

some times unstable is so stable, that many people use it. this is bad,
if it's stable, it should have been released.
some times unstable is absolutelyy not useable, and it breaks my system
(grep bug, bash bug, new xxx without new libxxx situations ...).

i also don't like :
a) the package is checked by one or a few persons, before uploaded 
b) the package is checked by 300 people, because it's in unstable.

something in the middle with a small group (30) would be nice.
but how to manage that ? i don't know.
