Boot floppies and partition formatting
I heard a story that one my friend converted from Slackware to Debian.
When he answered questions of the installation program, his Enter key
remained pressed once after releasing it and autorepeat answered "yes"
to all the questions. My friend has finished with all data on his disk
erased, because his Linux partition got formatted. He became a Red Hat
user. :-)
Maybe installation program should be more safe with respect to such a
curious hardware failures?
