After installing ncurses3.0-1.9.8a-3.deb Midnight Commander runs fine.

This tends to indicate the wrong depends in mc, but it could be ncurses-base.
Is ncurses-base supposed to install libncurses.so.3.0?

Which is it, so I can bug report the proper place?
