Three bug messages lost
It seems that the something to do with the ScumOS5 kernel, the
FAserver, quotas and whatever else is going on causes `cat' not to
notice write errors.
Three bug reports were turned into empty files, and lost. Below are
the Smail logfile entries for their arrival and delivery.
Unfortunately I don't have the information about their original
senders, but Bruce may be able to work it out from his mail logs.
Note that the dates in the log entries below are more related to when
the system came back `up' than to when the messages were actually
sent.
I am very cross indeed with the fiasco that this `upgrade' has been,
and I'm not the only one.
(I have also lost 15 other messages, 7 of which were postings to
debian-user. I do not appear to have lost any postinst to
debian-devel.)
