problem with main ftp site
Hello All:
I run a private mirror of the stable and unstable trees to help in
installation on our campus. For about a week, the mirror program has been
encountering errors in obtaining certain files from the ftp.debian.org
site. I am enclosing an abstract of the session report below. Basically,
the mirror program gets too many errors and then quits. This results in
an unusable mirror for me because, even though I am not interested in some
of the packages which are in error, the ones which might have been
downloaded later never get put on my mirror.
I tried ftp from the command line to check the first of the error files
(gpstrans) and in fact, a get only sits there and never downloads
anything.
Hope this helps you diagnose the problem.
