ok, this one is annoying (apt/dpkg/dselect bug?)

    OK, can someone please explain to me why dselect/apt/dpkg is screwing up
in this way.  I go to install gtkicq...

Sorry, but the following packages are broken - this means they have unmet
dependencies:
  gtkicq: Depends:libpanel-applet0

    OK, so in dselect I look at that..
		
*** Opt libs     libpanel-app 0.30-2      0.99.3.2-4  Library for Gnome Panel a

    apt/dpkg will not, however, install libpanel-applet0!  When I just have
that selected, it will not upgrade.  WTF is going on?
