This was a simple typo in the control file which was fixed in version
1.3.3-7, currently sitting in Incoming. Apache will not even install
without it.

There was a suggestion some while back to search the .orig files for a
gettext.c file, or something like that. Did anyone ever do this? It
could be a serious security hole, so this should be done asap by
someone with the expertise to do so.

Hasn't this been fixed by the new base upgrade package or the like? I
remember discussions on -devel about how to do it.
