GNOME stuff broken?
Hi,
This is on an Alpha potato system.
With gdk-imlib1 1.9.2-1 installed, a lot of GNOME programs do this:
erwin ~$ gnomine
gnomine: error in loading shared libraries
/usr/lib/libgdk_imlib.so.1: undefined symbol: g_module_build_path
When I downgrade it to 1.8.1-1, those apps work, but then apt is stuck:
Sorry, but the following packages are broken - this means they have unmet
dependencies:
gnome-bin: Depends:gdk-imlib1
libgnome31: Depends:gdk-imlib1
Why are all these things broken? How can they be fixed?
Thanks,
John
