This is not fully right, or right at all. As a maintainer, one
is responsible for ones package -- and not just pass the buck
upstream. One may not be able to solve the bug without upstream
help, but that does not lessen the duty to search for, and fix,
problems, if one can, locally, even lacking upstream response.

Ignoring flaws in ones package helps no one.
