libfreetype and fontconfig seems broken again!

just upgraded to libfreetype6_2.1.3+2.1.4rc2-1 and it breaks at least
phoenix on me.

This is an image with libfreetype6_2.1.3-10

In the above image you see how the rendering of the webpage looks
"normal" at least to me.  Notice the capital A, it goes straight up.

This is an image with libfreetype6_2.1.3+2.1.4rc2-1

In the above image you see how the rendering of the webpage looks
"messed up" to me.  Notice the capital A, it seems slanted to the left!?

now with fontconfig dpkg-reconfigured and saying "yes" to bitmap fonts
I get

In here you see the menus, which I persume use bitmap fonts looking
normal, compared to the above 2 images.

anyways, this all just happened on my update last night.

the fontconfig_2.1.90-1 package didn't seem to give me problems.
