SDL c102 transition

I seem to remember mention of maintainership changes for SDL, but I
can't find any recent information, so I'd like to pose the question:

When is libsdl1.2 going to have its c102 transition?

I also seem to remember seeing a staging area somewhere for this, but I
could be wrong.

If nobody is working on sdl, I may NMU it so that I can perform the c102
transition for libsmpeg.
