Mounting a directory from the network does not mean, that it is shared by
other systems. It simply means the physical storage is centralized, which
makes great many sence from the point of TCO and maintenance.

since ifstate has other problems (for example it is unable to detect a
downed interface) the best way to deal with it, is to remove the state here
completely and check the actual interface configuration instead.
