Re: Debian needs more RSS/RDF-news tickers
If you're interested in another RSS/RDF reading project, check out
janchor [ http://janchor.jabberstudio.org/ ], my RSS/RDF->Jabber
component. Basically, if you do your instant messaging (and through the
magic of jabber, ICQ/MSN/Yahoo/AOL too) through jabber, and your client
has basic headline support, you can receive updates from all your
favorite RSS/RDF sources that way.
It's a work-in-progress, with more work definately needed, but I'd love
to hear any feedback on it.
(For the moment, it's just a single perl script, which is why I haven't
bothered deb'ing it... if anyone has a convincing reason why I should,
I'd love to hear that too :) )
