It's also Sheffield Hallum Uni rather than UShef, which makes it worse -
Hallum's just a jumped up Polytech (TAFE to us Aussies, uhm, perhaps a
Community College for the left-pondians?). So they don't even have the
ability to absorb clues which are occasionally re-radiated from the
clue-flooded buildings, which have been basking in clues from the hundreds
of years of occupancy by rather clued faculty staff.
That being said, UShef's IT staff have a particularly low clue level
themselves. Three Linux boxes in the place, and to get an account on them
you have to be postgrad (at least, that was the case when I was there in
2000). Furrfu.
