Killing users' accounts because you're a stupid sysadmin who can't fix trivial
problems in his own server also violates netiquitte IMHO.

Anyway you aren't "subscribing" someone to spam, you are doing them a service
by trying to avoid them getting spam... ;)

You don't need to forge a From: address. Use a legit From: address in a
co-operative domain that refers to an address that will be removed a few
minutes after you've sent out your messages (ISPs that use Qmail for virtual
domains are good for such things ;). Then in the body of the mail say
"please don't send mail to postmaster@stupid-isp.co.uk".

Then add to your home page the message "please don't spam me as
postmaster@stupid-isp.co.uk will remove my account if I receive spam", make
sure your home page doesn't have your email address...

There is no point PGP/GPG signing an email unless the signature can be
verified. If you post to a list then don't sign the message unless your
key is available on public key servers and has been signed by someone
who is in the web of trust, otherwise you just waste bandwidth and CPU.
