locale problem with coreutils
I just updated my system and installed, among other new stuff,
coreutils. But now I have some strange messages appearing. That is the
localization is somewhat buggy it seems. For instance the message:
mv: overwrite `b'?
in german should be and was:
mv: »b« überschreiben?
After the update it strangly migrated to:
mv: »b« Ã 1/4 berschreiben?
As you can see the text is correct, but the umlaut is not correctly
displayed. Could anyone please tell me what's going on resp. what I did
wrong? Thanks.
