Hmmm... Might be related to a problem I have had on certain systems...
(on one recent computer, running /etc/init.d/discover causes the kernel
2.4.18 and 2.4.19 to oops, and also prevents a clean shutdown.)
Why should unloading modules cause these types of problems though?
Isn't it an indication of a kernel bug?
