I've sent a mail to the list several days before uploading
new GTK+2.0. Did someone reply about it?
made sure no objection, and I've uploaded it.

Are you saying I should renamed all package name?
even if people didn't installs -dev, -common may works
against them.
I think a good way of fixing this problem is each
maintainer rebuild their package anyway.
