For me only if I set spanish to be the preferred language in my
browser. Perhaps somehow you got delivered a cached version of
the page from a proxy which somebody had requested in spanish

This will get you the English version. I don't know why but I found a like
somewhere on the Debian site that had this syntax (*.en.html) and tried
it... It worked so I book marked it that way. This page has LOTS of cool
info that has helped me a lot in making my own packages.
