If your keyboard doesn't have any key which serves as a Meta key, then Alt
will work as Meta. The pc105 model has a Meta key, so it is used as such.
You probably want to use the option 'alt:swapmeta' to swap the meta and alt
keys, or alt:leftaltismeta or alt:rightaltismeta to have one of the alt keys
generate meta, if you want your old behaviour back.
