I've postponed my workings on this until woody is released actually.
I'm preparing a big todo-list for after-woody, where this is one of the
major topics.
Unfortunately i have postponed it partly due to lack of time, too ;)
On the menu thing: i'd suggest we start adding useful keywords first,
then play around with different trees of arranging them, then use the
experience we gained from this structuring to make a better menu
structure.
Menu is missing i18n, too, btw... as does apt for woody... *complain*
Fortunately there is aptitude ;)
%s/keywords/tags/
Unfortunately gnome and kde have a fixed menu structure which isn't too
fine-grained either... Should we consider overriding their menu
structure, too? Or better stick with the standards there?
Greetings,
Erich
