[ppp] dialing alternative numbers with chat or pon or ...

Hi,

I'd like to be able to specify several number to my ISP to try in
turn (e.g. if one is busy).  Has there been any discussion on doing
this with chat or maybe pon?  Is it worthwile to add this, or should I
just use wvdial instead?
