debfoster task-foo
[ wait while task-foo and its dependencies are installed ]

debfoster task-foo-
[ wait while task-foo is removed ]

Debfoster then asks:
Do you want to keep libfoo1? [Y/n]
Do you want to keep foo? [Y/n]

Alternatively, you can remove task-foo however you like and then run debfoster
with no arguments to get the same result.

Isn't that the kind of thing you're after?
