Hello! ++ 19/01/01 06:00 -0600 - BugScan reporter: > Package: abiword (debian/main) > Maintainer: Darren Benham <gecko@debian.org> > 74882 Abiword refuses ISO LATIN 2 characters I tried to contact Darren, but I got no reply. Darren made abiword package obsolete, ecause new abiword packages named abiword-common, and two packages containing binary compiled with xml and without it. The current version of abiword-{common,expat,xml} is 0.7.11. I don't know why Darren didn't write Replaces: abiword, and many people trying to install abiword installing package 'abiword' that is only 0.7.7. The error above fixed in 0.7.12. If no one objects I can make NMU today's evening. It will be new 0.7.12 with #74882 (and several others with same complants) fixed, new package abiword-gnome and with Replaces: abiwordin -expat, -gnome and -xml.
