You'll have to use a initrd anyway, regardless of wheter lvm
uses wrappers or not, since _no_ lvm volumes are mounteable
before vgchange -a is run. See lvmcreate_initrd(8).
Ah, lvmcreate_initrd might copy the wrapper instead of the real
binaries onto the ramdisk ... fix should be trivial.
