uudeview maintainer MIA
Uudeview has a number of bugs reported, including an NMU diff. These
have been opened a long time. The maintainer seems to be MIA
(db.debian.org apparently has never seen any activity, and I sent him
an email two weeks ago without any response; not even a bounce...).
As far as I can see, the maintainer sjp@siliconlogic.com
(Steven J. Phillips) has never responded to any of the bug reports.
Uudeview is also his only package.
I suggest that he be removed, as he apparently doesn't care about his
tasks as a maintainer. I offer to adopt uudeview and close a number of
the bugs (which shouldn't be too hard I think). However, if someone else
would like to do this, it would be fine to me. All I care about is
fixing the current situation.
