:Problem with perl-5.6

Sorry for resubmitting, this mail has not yet been uploaded to the
list! Also install of perl-5.6 fails!!

How to resolve my problem with the new perl version (5.6.0-3) in woody?

The latest upgrade installed perl-5.6-base on my system, but not the
rest of the packages yet!
1. Can I just (temorarily) remove perl-5.6-base and put on hold for
now?
2. Other alternatives?

An example of configure problems with dist-upgrade:
# dpkg --configure debconf
Setting up debconf (0.5.01) ...
