ITP: thttpd
I've recently applied to NM... number 96 in the queue of 98, at last check.
In the mean time I'm packaging a few things which interst me; this post
pertains to thttpd, a small web server which rather than forking uses the
select system call. This makes it less memory hungry than those such as
apache, and in extreme loads, faster. It can handle more concurrent users,
and implements by-url bandwidth throttling. Using a simple CGI system it can
do redirects and ssi, and has security as a fairly high priority.
thttpd can be found at http://www.acme.com/software/thttpd/ and is subject
to the following BSD-esque license:
